Once we have agreed to work together, any member of your staff can contact us at any stage of pregnancy and new parenthood, regarding any issue related to having a baby or being a working parent.

For some women in the early throes of pregnancy - possibly feeling sick and exhausted and desperately trying to continue as normal - this might be before they've even told their colleagues their news.

An initial one-to-one session allows us to discuss the individual's hopes, fears and expectations for this great life-change that is happening, and as a result of this session we compile information that is specific to them across wellbeing, equipment needed and life-after-birth.

This support then continues through the members' area of our website, where staff can find their plan, exclusive briefings and the facility to email us with a guaranteed response within one working day.

Queries may range from asking for a briefing on private obstetric care, having become disillusioned with the NHS, through to advising on childcare options in their area.

We offer ongoing one-to-one support to employees at a level agreed with you. As well as our mentoring and support, this can also include more work-focused coaching sessions with one of our network of coaches.

We suggest our programme covers pregnancy, maternity leave and the return to work, or for fathers, the first six months of their baby’s life, but we envisage continuing to advise staff as their families grow. This is because we believe that in order to stay in the workplace long-term, working parents need this support on an ongoing basis.

Babyplanners Business offers benefits to all staff. We run regular seminars at clients’ offices that are open to all, covering a broad spectrum of issues surrounding the work-life balance. The seminar programme will give you an opportunity to promote your progressive family-friendly agenda and provide staff with rich and enjoyable sessions.

Babyplanners Business offers corporate clients annual contracts that cover the full provision of service to all staff. Our fees are banded according to the number of staff you expect to go on maternity or paternity leave each year but are otherwise all-inclusive, irrespective of the time we spend supporting any one employee.

Babyplanners Business invites feedback from members via an in-depth, anonymous questionnaire to establish how the service was received. The data obtained will be compiled to form a client report, prepared for you on a quarterly basis.
